Youth Hub Fellowship

The Youth Hub Fellowship is a 6-month paid fellowship which was created in 2020. It is an opportunity for any young person who has been directly impacted by the criminal justice system. During the Fellowship, young people participate in building skills which will allow them to create change within their communities. These skills focus on:

  • Liberation + Movement Building
  • Transformative + Restorative Justice
  • Self-Care + Personal Development
  • YASP’s Participatory Defense Hub

Youth within the Hub Fellowship also work to create unique social actions + projects to bring awareness to the community about the fight to end youth incarceration, keeping young people out of the adult legal system, and other social justice issues. Currently, the Hub Fellowship consists of 8 fellows, filled with the motivation to continue to fight to overcome injustices.
